Deepak Sambhara, MD
Medical Director of Research
Dr. Sambhara joined the Eye Clinic in 2019 and started the clinical research program in 2023. He is a member of numerous professional societies and has given research presentations at national meetings. His professional areas of interest include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other retinal vascular diseases.
Rebecca Ottosen, MS, CCRC
Director of Clinical Research
Rebecca joined the Eye Clinic in 2023. She is a certified research coordinator with experience in oncology, cardiology, and vaccine studies.

Research Photographer
Katie has been with the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin from 2007-2013 and returned in 2021. She also has an additional ten years of experience working in eye care. She is a certified ophthalmic assistant and is an experienced ophthalmic technician, medical scribe, and photographer. She is certified in various imaging modalities through various credentialing organizations.
Hailey Haase
Research Coordinator
Hailey has been with the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin since 2015 and joined our research team in 2024. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and an experienced scribe.
